August seemed to fly by in an instant, probably mostly due to the fact that I had so darn much going on. Nearly every day was filled with either studio time, modeling and family sessions, or a little bit of both, with a lot of fun social stuff, time with friends, and a quick trip to Colorado squeezed in there too somehow. It's odd to me that it's nearly September, but as anyone who knows me well is aware, September is the month of antici....pation for both myself and the rest of the fright freaks out there. Halloween Horror Nights is just around the corner and I'm finding myself starting to get excited. Not TOO excited yet, because I have enough other stuff occupying my mind and my schedule, but as September progresses I know I'll start to get that itch for the smell of chainsaw exhaust, the sound of screams, and the sight of fog drifting over the streets of Universal Orlando. This year is set to be a pretty big year, an important anniversary for our beloved HHN, and I'm sure it'll be a blast.
In the meantime, I have my ongoing newborn project still trucking along, as well as several family portraits and a wedding that I'm prepping for. September will no doubt be another busy crazy month in my world, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Bring it on.
