Who Ya Gonna Call?

It's not often (count: as of now, exactly once) that I get to set up an epic Ghostbusters photo as a surprise for an awesome couple at their wedding. These two met at a Christmas parade several years ago that they both attended dressed as Ghostbusters, and while it wasn't their wedding 'theme', it has been a big part of their relationship, so I knew we had to do something cool to honor that. I cooked this up, ran around to a bunch of places all over Central Florida like a maniac in the days leading up to their Savannah wedding to gather up all the necessary props and set elements, and perhaps most miraculous of all, I somehow managed to keep it a surprise from them until finally, I snagged them out of their reception and brought them out to see what we had in store for them. It was really fun, very cool, and a wonderful way to pay homage to how they started out and what this movie means to them.

P.S. Many many thanks to the staff at the Olde Pink House in Savannah for their help with the logistics (and for letting us set up this silly mayhem in their courtyard out front), Colin at Hollywood Collectibles Group and our friend George for providing the props, the delightful Becc and Travis for lending us their fog and light machine (hey, the fire department didn't get called this time we used it, ha!), Nick and Jeannette's amazing friend Alicia for helping us with setting this up while I kept them distracted upstairs, and the always fantastic Brendan with Sullivan Art Co., not only for being the best darn Slimer Wrangler in the business, but also for his phenomenal editing work adding Mr. Stay Puft into the photo for us...this wouldn't have been possible without all of their help!

Who ya gonna call? Rachel Sullivan Photography, obviously. (Never let it be said that I approach ANY of my weddings in a cookie-cutter 'predetermined shot roster' way, ha!)
